The YMCA is a charitable association dedicated to
building healthy body, mind and spirit. Part of the worldwide
movement, it offers various programs that promote and
develop international understanding.
YMCA's are open to men, women and children of all
ages, incomes, abilities, races and religions at over 2,000
locations in 50 states.
The Little Falls YMCA, established in 1883, is
a full-service facility that offers over 80 instructional programs,
and serves in excess of 100,000 individuals each year. The
Little Falls Family YMCA is a member agency of the Greater Little
Falls Community Chest.
Although the programs and services offered at
different Y's may vary, YMCA's in the USA are tied together by
five basic goals:

Visiting
Members: Individuals with out of town YMCA
memberships will be permitted three free visits before a guest fee
is requested. Membership ID and/or proof of a fully paid
membership is required.
Program
Registration: Nothing kills a program quicker
than lack of registration. Reserve your slot in the program by
pre-registering at the central office at 823-1740.

One Y One Family. YMCA
Reciprocal Membership Privileges: YMCA's have
joined together to offer joint membership services for all
members. Please check the YMCA you are visiting to obtain away
membership details. Little Falls and Mohawk Vally YMCAs offer
dual membership (join one & automatically become a member of the
other). Each Y has its own hours, policies and schedules, so
be sure to check at each Y before use.
Insurance:The Little Falls and Mohawk YMCAs do not carry individual
accident insurance for participants. Individuals should carry
their own medical insurance. All members, guests, program
participants, volunteers and spectators accept the following
responsibility: In
consideration of acceptance of my participation, I, intending to be
legally bound for myself, my heirs, executor and administrator, do
hereby release and discharge the City of Little Falls, the Little
Falls Family YMCA & the YMCA of the Mohawk Valley, sponsors and
volunteers, from any and all liability arising from injuries,
illness or damage I may suffer as a result of my participation in
any activities or programs. I do certify that I am in good
physical condition and freely participate in these
activities.
Refunds:NO
REFUNDS WILL BE MADE for memberships except with a
medical slip or relocation beyond a 25 mile
radius. Refunds will be pro-rated. Refunds
for programs will have a 10% charge for handling. After the
first week of class no refunds will be given except for medical
reasons. Full refunds will be given for classes canceled due
to lack of registration. If the YMCA has to cancel class due
to inclement weather or facility issues a make-up class or a
pro-rated return will be offered.
Financial
Assistance: The YMCA will never turn someone away
due to an inability to pay for memberships or programs.
Financial aid is available for those who qualify. All requests
for financial aid are confidential. To apply contact Executive

Volunteers Reach Out and
Help: Volunteers are the heart of our community
service programs. If you wish to help a child, provide a
family better nutrition, help in the office, work in the shop or
serve on the board, contact us - we could use your help.
Photography and Recording
Policy: The use of recording and/or photography
equipment of any kind during any program or in any area of the
building without the written consent of the YMCA is strictly
forbidden. To obtain permission contact the YMCA Executive
Director.
Parking:
Plenty of street parking is available on Jackson St., Lansing St.,
Garden St. and along the park on Gansevoort St.
